This piece is among the lowes-quality surviving works from the collaboration between Hossein Khān and Djenāb Damāvandi. Despite significant efforts to restore the instrument’s sound, the technical team was unable to achieve the desired result due to poor recording quality, the musician’s distance from the sound-receiving horn, and the age of the recording. In this Afshāri piece, Djenāb performed a poem by his beloved poet, Hāfez of Shirāz.
