Song No 23: Hijāz
Hijaz, which today is considered a section of the Abu'atā mode and is part of the Shour system, was originally an independent maqhām in ancient Iranian, Torkish, and Arabic music. Djenāb Damāvandi selected the Arabic lyrics of this song from Sheikh Bahāi's Kashkoul and performed it with his unique technique.
