Bidad Song 1912

Bidād, a section of the Homāyoun mode, was the second piece recorded on October 17, 1912. This performance featured Djenāb Damāvandi focusing on intricate and unique embellishments. Although the improvisation was beautifully executed with Mirzā Hossein Khān’s kamāncheh accompaniment, the poor audio quality has made it impossible to extract the lyrics sung.
