Song No 16: Shour (1)
Mirzā Asadollah Khān Atābaki, a Tār and santur player, was an old friend of Djenāb Damāvandi. He served as the head of the office of Jafar Gholi Khān Bakhtiāri (known as Sardār As'ad III) for a period and, in addition to collaborating in music, he also assisted in financial and legal matters within the organization. During Sardār As'ad III's rule over Kermān, Djenāb Damāvandi, together with Mirzā Asadollāh Khān, performed a series of concerts called Rastākhiz-e Shahryārān-e Iran (Resurrection of the Kings of Iran), based on a poem by Mirzādeh Eshghi. These concerts featured not only musical performances but also acted-out scenes by various actors. The only joint musical work between Djenāb Damāvandi and Mirzā Asadollah Khān consists of two songs in the Shour mode, one of which features a poem by Foroughi Bastāmi for its premiere performance.

Shour 1 Lyrics
I am willing to endure your cruelty with all my soul,
If in return, this transaction of life stays loyal
I will repay the harm done to strangers,
The day that fate makes me familiar with you
